5 August 2017 Welland Canal Fallen Workers Task Force Cemetery Tours will be run that tell the story of Fallen Workers. Tours will run at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St Catharines at 10:00 am in the Old Cemetery and 2:00 pm in the New Cemetery. Follow this link to poster for further details.

1 - 3 September 2017 Canal Society of Indiana A one-day Mississippi River Cruise is being planned for the Fall Tour. The Tour will be based in Galena, IL
24 – 28 September 2017 Erie Canal National Heritage Corridor, New York State Canal Corporation, and, Syracuse Convention and Visitor Bureau World Canals Conference 2017 will be based in Syracuse, New York. Twenty-seventeen will mark the 200th Anniversary of the start of construction on the Erie Canal. See: wcc2017syracuse.com
07 - 09 October 2017 Canal Society of Ohio The Fall Tour will be to the Johnston Farm Area in Piqua, OH.
12 - 22 October 2017 Essential Collective Theatre, First Ontario Performing Arts Centre, St Catharines, Ontario The Welland Canal Play; a great way of celebrating Canada 150.
30 October 2017 Thorold and Beaverdams Historical Society A presentation by Andy Panko on the Welland Ship Canal Construction Railway.
11 November 2017 Niagara Bruce Trail Club Join the Niagara Bruce Trail Club as they take a hike along the historic Welland Canals. The MERRITTHON is a trek approximately 45 km along the historic canal routes. The hike begins at Port Colborne, follows the Welland Ship Canal and moves onto the Merritt Trail in St Catharines to finish in Port Dalhousie. Registration is C$30.00. Fee covers bus transfer, snacks, water check points and a badge. Check www.niagarabrucetrailclub.org for registration.
Spring 2018 Canal Society of Ohio The Spring Tour will explore the Six Mile Dam and Coshocton Area in Ohio.
13 - 15 April 2018 Canal Society of Indiana The Spring Tour will be in the Fort Wayne area.
10 - 12 September 2018 Waterways Ireland World Canals Conference 2018 will be based in Athlone, Ireland.
